THE POWDERMILL TRUST for Nature Conservation was formed in 1980 by a group of local naturalists, to help conserve wildlife and safeguard habitats in the High Weald landscape. Currently the Trust which is based in East Sussex, has nature reserves at Rotherfield, Powdermill Wood, and Crowhurst, and all are carefully managed for nature conservation. The Trust may, under certain circumstances, consider the acquistion of new reserves, especially in places where habitats or species may be under threat.
